Indian handicrafts are unique in itself and it’s amazing and shame at the same time to see these crafts are struggling for their existence. A 1-week exploration program was organized by our department to visit and learn about the Sabai, Madur, wood crafts in the remote area of West Mednipore, WB. In order to learn and create and also teach the craftsmen to create something that could give these fading crafts a new life.
